I received the accordion as a present when I was 10 years old, from and uncle who unfortunately died at the age of 39. As I didn’t have a teacher, I taught myself to play little pieces on the instrument, like “Hänschen klein” and “Alle meine Entchen”.
As the years went on I got progressively better and played country-music, walking-songs and popular music. Since then my instrument has remained a true companion at many birthdays, weddings and regularly in the retirement home. I can bring pleasure to a lot of people with my music.
Today, after 60 years, it is my third instrument and I hope I can play and bring people pleasure for many more years.
